Range and clubhouse

How do I access the clubhouse?

ATTENTION CIVILIAN NON-MEMBERS and GUESTS!!
 

Non-Members and Non-DoD I.D. card holders wanting to bring their bows onto any of our ranges (for use with a day pass) must first email the following information to dennis.scott@usafa.edu to be placed on the Entry Authorization List (EAL)* AT LEAST 6 DAYS PRIOR to attempting to come on base with their bow.

- Full name as it appears on your driver's license.

- Driver's license number and state of issue.

- Date of birth. 

- Under 18, name and date of birth only if no learners permit or driver's license is issued.


*Once on the EAL you can access the range earlier than 9:00 through the South Gate.


VERY IMPORTANT!!
 The Air Force Academy has needed to tighten their base entry controls this summer (2019), anyone attempting to bring a bow on base will be turned away by Security Forces if they identify the bow in your vehicle while doing random vehicle checks. Please cooperate with our Security Forces personnel by contacting the Archery Club to get placed on our EAL before attempting to bring your bow on base.

Each archer, 13 years old and older, must purchase a day pass or membership to shoot any and all ranges. 

NO EXCEPTIONS

Day passes are available in the mailbox at the bulletin board.

DIRECTIONS

Simply enter through the North Gate of off I-25 exit 156, turn left (south) at the B-52 static display onto Stadium Blvd, continue past the stadium and turn right (west) onto Community Center Drive, and after less than a quarter mile, left onto Sumac Dr.  Follow Sumac to the range.  Stay left where the road splits and continue to the clubhouse.  Clubhouse is open Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Closed on major holidays, but the ranges remain open.

Remember: our clubhouse is open Saturdays only from 9:00 to 4:00 for membership purchase and equipment rental.  All 6 of our ranges are open 7 days a week.
