  • Flu Flu machine- Should be ready late February.
  • Porta Potties were cleaned.
  • Level 2 Training/Lessons: Last session will be on March 19th.

Vice President:

  • Apparel:  T-shirts/Hats/Mugs/Stickers – Working on getting the link on the website so people can order apparel directly from the site themselves.

Facility Coordinator:

  • Scotty – The Polaris UTV and Kubota needs maintenance – we will be looking at how long the maintenance will take for each one of them and see if we are able to get them in together with a quick turnaround or if we will have to schedule each at different times to make sure one is always at the range. We will also make sure that they look at the gear that sticks to see about a fix.
  • Looking at sanding the handrail and tree stand perch, getting the blueprint and quote for static overhang.

3D Range Coordinator:  3D Ranges Updates- Tom got an email back and it is looking like no targets until June.  Facility signs for tournament are in progress of being made.

Tournament Committee:

  • Spring League- At this time Board has decided to not to move forward with a spring league due to future tournaments. We are looking at possible summer league.
  • Traditional tournament- TBD
  • Triple Crown- Online registration in the test phase and should be up soon and available to start registering. Flyer will be out soon with all details.
  • July-RMAA- More details to come.
  • Aug kid tournament- TBD

Website Coordinator:

  • Kristen, our website coordinator has been working very hard at putting together the website and she has started adding to each area on the site. She has also been working with Kyle to get the registration for the Triple Crown onto the site.  Kyle will also be talking to her about the calendar on the site and making sure upcoming dates are posted.

New Business

  • MOA Group Range Usage: There has been some increased interest from non-members about using the range. The Board would like to make sure all our members are first and foremost taken care of, but with that being said one of the groups that is interested is a D20 school group and it is also very important to give our youth an opportunity to be educated about archery. So as a board we are going to be having a meeting to decide what this will all look like and how to also take care of our members. We have agreed as a board to let CYO and D20 to use the range, dates to come.
    • Groups: NON-Profit vs Profit Organizations such as CYO, Church, Scouts, JOAD, Schools, Organizations

  • Membership meeting: Apr 15 Saturday- This is our yearly Membership meeting that hopefully a lot of members will be able to attend, we will provide food and talk about the range.
  • Volunteers- As the weather get warmer, we will be looking at getting some work parties together to complete work that is needed around the range.

Secretary:

  • Board Meetings vs Newsletter- Each month after the Board Meeting the meeting minutes will be sent out to all members within a week of the meeting. The meeting minutes will contain all the information talked about during the meeting. Then starting in March at the beginning of each month a newsletter will also go out to all members as well as being posted on the website. The newsletter will be more of just the highlights from the meeting as well as important information and upcoming events.

Additional Comments:

  • As we continue to grow and see new people on the range we will be doing more random checks for membership cards as well as day passes. Please make sure to always have your membership card or your day pass available and ready to be shown if asked.
  • Questions from member- If I got hurt on the range and needed help who do I call? The answers is to call 911 and then be sure to let the know that you are on the Air Force Academy Archery Range.

Projected Meetings:

  • Next Board Meeting:  Mar 16 @ 6pm-7pm @ Clubhouse
  • 3rd Thursday each month for Board meetings unless conflicts with Board
